[TYRA X ETAST] 2025-12-14 德國與瑞士的學術職涯地圖:教職機會與長期發展
本講座與歐洲台灣科技人協會(European-Taiwanese Association for Science and Technology e. V.,簡稱歐台科協,ETAST)合作,邀請創辦人陳建佳教授與施智仁教授分享德國與瑞士的學術職涯樣貌。
歐台科協致力串聯旅歐台灣科研人才,於歐洲舉辦年度會議,推動跨國科研合作並提升台灣在歐洲的能見度,並透過年度會議與導師制度協助博士生、博後及新進學者建立人脈與職涯發展。
內容將介紹從博士生、博士後研究員、專任研究人員到教授的主要職務、角色分工與常見升遷路徑,特別說明專任研究人員在長期研究計畫與實驗室營運中的重要性,以及教授在課程規劃、學術治理與對外合作上的核心位置。同時,也會簡要比較德、瑞與美國學術體系在聘任模式、授課時數、研究資源與產學合作上的差異,讓有意赴歐進入學界或延續研究工作的同學與年輕學者,能更清楚掌握實際職涯機會與規劃方向。
|| 講者(Speaker):
Prof. Chih-Jen Shih is currently Associate Professor of Chemical Engineering at ETH Zurich. He received B.S. and Ph.D degrees from National Taiwan University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology, respectively. He joined ETH Zurich as an Assistant Professor in 2015, followed by the promotion to Associate Professor in 2022. His research has been recognized by a number of awards, including the Victor K. Lamer Award from the American Chemical Society (2017), the Ruzicka Prize from the Swiss Chemical Society (2018), the ERC Starting Grant (2019), and the SNSF Consolidator Grant (2024).
Prof. Jian-Jia Chen is Chair Professor of Design Automation for Embedded Systems of Faculty of Informatics (Computer Science) at TU Dortmund since April 2014. He started his European Journey in 2008 as a Postdoc at ETH Zurich, followed by Juniorprofessorship at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) in 2010. He received the ERC Consolidator Award in 2019. He is the founding chair of the European Taiwanese Association for Science and Technology e.V.
